Dr. Erik Goluboff, Physician-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, has received prevalent regard for his teaching, research, and patient care.



Getting the most of his impressive academic history, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned numerous research awards as well. Twice named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology, he's also earned a First Prize together with an Honorable Mention in the yearly Valentine Essay Competition of New York Academy of Medicine. He's received the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Young Investigator Award along with the Columbia-Presbyterian Housestaff Mini-Grant Award.

Board-certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed by New York State, Erik Goluboff, M.D., has pursued extensive training in his area. At Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, he completed sequential residencies in surgery and urology. Following his final year of urologic residency, during which he led his peers as Chief Resident, Dr. Erik Goluboff finished a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology.

Before joining Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a surgical internship at the nationally renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined the faculty of Columbia during his fellowship year when he accepted the function of Assistant Professor. He soon progressed to full Professor and later to Associate Professor. After almost 15 years on Columbia University's faculty, he became Professor of Clinical Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a position he fills in addition to his responsibilities at Beth Israel Medical Center.
