Dr. Erik Goluboff, Physician-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, has received prevalent regard for his teaching, research, and patient care. Moreover, Dr. Erik Goluboff has appeared on the Council's list of America's Top Urologists for the past three consecutive years, and he's ranked among Castle Connolly Medical Limited's Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area annually since 2008.
Utilizing his impressive academic background, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned numerous research awards as well. Twice named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology, he's also earned a First Prize together with an Honorable Mention in New York Academy of Medicine's yearly Valentine Essay Contest. He's received the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Young Investigator Award as well as the Columbia-Presbyterian Housestaff Mini-Grant Award.
Board certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed by New York State, Erik Goluboff, M.D., has pursued extensive training in his area. At Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, he completed consecutive residencies in surgery and urology. Following his final year of urologic residency, during which he led his peers as Chief Resident, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology.
Before joining Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a surgical internship at the nationally famous Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined the faculty of Columbia during his fellowship year when he accepted the job of Assistant Professor. He soon advanced to full Professor and subsequently to Associate Professor. After almost 15 years on Columbia University's faculty, he became Professor of Clinical Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a place he fills in addition to his responsibilities at Beth Israel Medical Center.
