Dr. Erik Goluboff, Doctor-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, has received prevalent consideration for his teaching, research, and patient care. In addition, Dr. Erik Goluboff has appeared on the Council's list of America's Top Urologists for the past three successive years, and he's rated among Castle Connolly Medical Limited's Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area annually since 2008.
Getting the most of his notable academic foundation, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned numerous research awards as well. Named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology, he has also earned a First Prize together with an Honorable Mention in New York Academy of Medicine's yearly Valentine Essay Competition. He's received the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Young Investigator Award as well as the Columbia-Presbyterian Housestaff Mini-Grant Prize.
Board certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed by New York State, Erik Goluboff, M.D., has pursued wide-ranging training in his field. At Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, he finished sequential residencies in surgery and urology. Following his final year of urologic residency, during which he directed his peers as Chief Resident, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology.
Before joining Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Erik Goluboff finished a surgical internship at the nationally famous Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He'd formerly received his M.D. from Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine, prior to which he earned his Bachelor's degree at Columbia University. He joined Columbia's faculty during his fellowship year when he accepted the function of Assistant Professor. He soon progressed to full Professor and later to Associate Professor. After almost 15 years on Columbia University's faculty, he became Professor of Clinical Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a place he fills in addition to his responsibilities at Beth Israel Medical Center.
