Dr. Erik Goluboff, Physician-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, has received widespread consideration for his teaching, research, and patient care. He recently earned the Teacher of the Year award from Beth Israel's Department of Urology, in which he serves as an attending physician, and he appears on the 2012 roster of America's Top Surgeons, a list compiled by the Consumers' Research Council of America.
Making use of his remarkable academic history, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned numerous research awards as well. Twice named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology, he has also earned a First Prize as well as an Honorable Mention in the yearly Valentine Essay Contest of New York Academy of Medicine. He has received the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Young Investigator Award and also the Columbia-Presbyterian Housestaff Mini-Grant Prize.

Before joining Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a surgical internship at the nationally famous Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined the faculty of Columbia during his fellowship year when he accepted the job of Assistant Professor. He soon advanced to Associate Professor and later to full Professor. After nearly 15 years on Columbia University's faculty, he became Professor of Clinical Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a place he fills in addition to his duties at Beth Israel Medical Center.
