A New York licensed and Board Certified Urologist, Dr. Erik Goluboff is among America's leading urologists. From 2009 to 2012, the Consumers' Research Council of America listed him as a top urologist and on the Council's list of top surgeons, he was in 2012. Dr. Goluboff also received the 2012 Teacher of the Year Award from the Department of Urology at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he's provided urologic oncology treatment since June 2011. In this position, Dr. Erik Goluboff diagnoses and treats patients with urologic cancers and performs robotic operations.
The academic position has been held by him at the Bronx, New York, school since 2011. With more than 20 years' expertise, Dr. Goluboff serves as a consultant to the Journal of Urology and has authored, reviewed, and edited numerous articles for professional journals. Dr. Erik Goluboff laid the foundation for his career with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia College in New York. A magna cum laude graduate and member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society honor society, he next studied at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He qualified as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society while earning Doctor of Medicine's he. In the Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Surgery, Erik Goluboff, MD, performed a surgical internship following graduation from the medical program. He completed surgical and urology residencies at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, where he served for a year as Chief Resident in the Department of Urology and in 1996 became a Urologic Oncology Fellow.
