Indigenous New Yorker Dr. Erik Goluboff is an Attending Physician in the Department of Urology at Beth Israel Medical Center and Professor of Clinical Urology at Yeshiva University's Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Now a medical practitioner for more than 20 years, Dr. Goluboff entered the John Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1986, earning his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 1990. After a successful year as a surgical intern at John Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Erik Goluboff returned to New York to undertake specialized urology training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. In 1996, he became an educator at the institution with progress to full Professor in 2007.

In addition to his role as a teacher at Columbia-Presbyterian, Dr. Erik Goluboff became Assistant Attending in the Department of Urology, and starting in 1998 was Manager of Urology at the Allen Pavilion. As Manager of Urology, he helped add urology services to the Allen Pavilion, surgical services to 700 per year, and building urology outpatient visits from zero to 11,000 per year. Dr. Erik Goluboff additionally recruited to the Allen Pavilion both a specialist in urodynamics and an expert in erectile dysfunction to raise the services the Section offered.

In 2011 Dr. Goluboff moved to the Department of Urology at Beth Israel Medical Center. As Attending Physician, Dr. Goluboff focuses on urologic oncology and the continuously advancing field of robotic operation for urology. He focuses his teaching on diagnosing and treating urologic cancers, both surgically and non- surgically.

Dr. Erik Goluboff has been recognized for both his teaching and his abilities as a physician. Most recently, Dr. Erik Goluboff received the 2012 Teacher of the Year Award from Beth Israel Medical Center. He's additionally been listed among America's Top Urologists (2009-2012) and Top Surgeons (2012) by the Consumers' Research Council of America, and received a Patient's Choice Award from 2009 to 2011 and a Compassionate Doctor Award for 2011.
