Dr. Erik Goluboff, Physician-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, has received widespread consideration for his teaching, research, and patient care.
Getting the most of his notable academic background, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned numerous research awards as well. Named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology, he has also earned a First Prize in addition to an Honorable Mention in New York Academy of Medicine's annual Valentine Essay Contest. He's received the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Young Investigator Award and also the Columbia-Presbyterian Housestaff Mini-Grant Prize.
Board-certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed by New York State, Erik Goluboff, M.D., has pursued wide-ranging training in his field. At Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, he finished sequential residencies in surgery and urology. Following his final year of urologic residency, during which he led his peers as Chief Resident, Dr. Erik Goluboff finished a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology.
Before joining Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a surgical internship at the nationally renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He'd previously received his M.D. from Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine, prior to which he earned his Bachelor's degree at Columbia University. He joined Columbia's faculty during his fellowship year when he accepted the job of Assistant Professor. He soon advanced to Associate Professor and later to full Professor. After almost 15 years on Columbia University's faculty, he became Professor of Clinical Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a position he fills in addition to his responsibilities at Beth Israel Medical Center.
