Dr. Erik Goluboff, Physician-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, has received widespread consideration for his teaching, research, and patient care. Moreover, Dr. Erik Goluboff has appeared on the Council's list of America's Top Urologists for the previous three consecutive years, and he has rated among Castle Connolly Medical Limited's Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area annually since 2008.
Getting the most of his remarkable academic history, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned numerous research awards as well. Named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology, he's also earned a First Prize together with an Honorable Mention in New York Academy of Medicine's yearly Valentine Essay Competition. He has received the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Young Investigator Award as well as the Columbia-Presbyterian Housestaff Mini-Grant Award.
Board certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed by New York State, Erik Goluboff, M.D., has pursued wide-ranging training in his field. At Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, he completed sequential residencies in surgery and urology. Following his final year of urologic residency, during which he led his peers as Chief Resident, Dr. Erik Goluboff completed a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology.
Before joining Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Erik Goluboff finished a surgical internship at the nationally famous Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined Columbia's faculty during his fellowship year when he accepted the job of Assistant Professor. He soon progressed to full Professor and afterwards to Associate Professor. After almost 15 years on Columbia University's faculty, he became Professor of Clinical Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a position he fills in addition to his duties at Beth Israel Medical Center.
