We drive back towards the park entrance, stopping en route at Nguoi Xua cave which still retains some vestiges of primitive man. On arrival we board a sampan to get a leisurely trip with the quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields encompassed by towering limestone cliffs towards the grottoes of Tam Coc. The following destination is Halong Bay using a half day drive from Ninh Binh. The remainder of day is free of charge for your own exploration. The thrilling drive will deliver us to Halong Bay by mid or late afternoon based on traffic conditions. The local guide can give information on wild herbs and vegetables, and show some flying animals.
