The perfect way to celebrate your achievement in completing the trek can be a traditional music show followed while using local rice wine. The trekking expedition ends once arriving at the small village of Khoe. A part from the pleasure of our own adventure is the simple joy of seeing the scenic mountain scenery along with the varied customs of people. Today we continue our trek over the local footpath past many different hilltribe villages and terraced rice fields. We regroup at our hotel at the begining of afternoon and travel by ferry to Hai Phong, the biggest port capital of scotland - northern Vietnam. Today there is a half free day to explore Cat Ba Island all on your own. The ideal way to pay your last evening in Vietnam is often a dinner at one of the town famous eating spots. These optional activities are certainly not included; however our guide is accessible to help you with invaluable information. There are various options to pick from, a few of which are biking, kayaking or exploring the national park.<br><br>The capital of Vietnam, Hanoi is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and a few Asia's most striking colonial architecture. The accommodation is very simple and dormitory style, no western facilities though the experience is definitely unique. The trekking is actually difficult at times, by incorporating steep uphill and downhill walking; however, some physical preparation enables you to fully appreciate the walk. |
