On our journey there are a few opportunities to see ethnic minority people, all friendly and welcoming. A few hour drive takes us to Xuan Mai before we set off on a half day cycling with the breathtaking mountainous region to Ninh Binh Town (70 km). Day 1: Red River Delta Cycling tours: Hanoi - Xuan Mai - Ninh Binh ( L,D) ( 70 km )
7h00 Am : Pick up at hotel or we may pick up from the airport port. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 2: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: catba hotels (have a peek here) Trek Cat Ba National Park - Camping on beach (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel prior to taking a beautiful bus ride down the coast to succeed in Cat Ba National Park. You'll enjoy a lunch of savory fresh local seafoods and spend the rest of the day to research the town or enjoy Cat Co beaches. Today we are going to have a long trek across dense catba hotels jungle to succeed in the peaceful village of Viet Hai. We will have lunch in a local house in Viet Hai catba hotels village. Transfer through the island to the dock and board a little boat to Cruise to our private base camp. After lunch we walk to Viet Hai Quay for a short paddling on Lan Ha Bay to your beach where we're going to camp for any night. Overnight on Cat Ba Island. Dinner and overnight with the campsite. The crew from support boat will cook our dinner and ensure we use a comfortable night. Day 3: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Whole Day Kayaking on Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Whole day paddling and studying the Bay for your own pace, while wearing a closer look with the amazing karsts. Cruise back towards the base camp for dinner. You'll explore some of the many caves that lead to stunning lagoons, paddle with a floating villages to see this unique lifestyle, preventing to chill out at among the many beaches here. Enjoy another relaxing night at the base camp. You'll be met with a support boat that you can board to savor lunch before you decide to continue paddling in the afternoon. Cruise time for Cat Ba Island, ferry to Hai Phong then drive to Hanoi; arrive about 7: 30pm. (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Hanoi - Hai Phong - Cat Ba Island (L/D)
5: 30 - Depart from a hotel in Hanoi for Hai Phong City then take express boat to Cat Ba Island; arrive in Cat Ba Island at about 10: 00am. Return for the base camp for lunch where you can relax on the beach, throw across the Frisbee and have a swim. Day 4: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Bay Kayaking - Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi (B/L)
Our base camp is staffed by friendly locals who'll cook you up a hardy breakfast before you head out for that morning to understand more about more of the amazing karst limestone formations and grottos. That makes our itinerary completely different from those organized by other tour operators who don't use anything but the kayaking packages offered by the overnight junks. Short break at Frog Lake.
