Breakfast at hotel before taking a beautiful bus ride across the coast to achieve Cat Ba National Park. Today we'll have a long trek across dense jungle to succeed in the peaceful village of Viet Hai. (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Hanoi - Hai Phong - catba hotels Cat Ba Island (L/D)
5: 30 - Depart from your hotel in Hanoi for Hai Phong City then take express boat to Cat Ba Island; arrive in Cat Ba Island at about 10: 00am. Overnight on Cat Ba Island. We will have lunch in a local house in Viet Hai village. The crew from support boat will cook our dinner and ensure we possess a comfortable night. Short break at Frog Lake. You'll explore many of the many caves contributing to stunning lagoons, paddle for some floating villages to see this unique lifestyle, and prevent to chill out at one of the numerous beaches here. After lunch we walk to Viet Hai Quay for the short paddling on Lan Ha Bay to a beach where we'll camp to get a night. Day 3: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Whole Day Kayaking on Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Whole day paddling and exploring the Bay your own pace, while wearing a closer look in the amazing karsts. You'll be met by way of a support boat that you can board to relish lunch before you decide to continue paddling within the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on the campsite. Cruise back for the base camp for dinner. Day 4: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Bay Kayaking - Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi (B/L)
Our base camp is staffed by friendly locals who'll cook you up a hardy breakfast when you head out for the morning to explore more of the amazing karst limestone formations and grottos. Cruise to Cat Ba Island, ferry to Hai Phong then drive to Hanoi; arrive about 7: 30pm. Enjoy another relaxing night at the base camp. We use private support boat when paddling to understand more about hidden and untouristy corners of Halong Bay. You'll enjoy a lunch of savory fresh local seafoods and spend the rest of the day to explore the town or relax on Cat Co beaches. Note:
The camping could be on the deserted beach with double tent or at ready-set-up basecamp (also on beach) with bamboo hut depending on the weather condition and availability. That makes our itinerary not the same as those organized by other tour operators who exclusively use the kayaking packages made available from the overnight junks. Our trips focus on true and different kayaking experience in Halong Bay. Return for the base camp for lunch where you can enjoy the beach, throw around the Frisbee and take a swim. Trip includes:
