We continue venturing into northern tour to catba Vietnam with the next stop being Bac Ha Market, which also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups such as Variegated Hmong, Dao, Phu La, La Chi, Tay. Transfer to Lao Cai Railways Station for overnight train returning to Hanoi. The experience of this congregation is colorful and unique.
After a quick transfer takes us to the national park of Cat Ba, we set off with a half-day exploring Vietnam's unique offshore park. The afternoon we board a hydrofoil to Hai Phong and drive back to Hanoi.
Option 4: Can Cau Market on Saturday
Can Cau is a rural ethnic market, simply set up on the open ground at the side of a mountain, looking down a picturesque valley about 20 km north of Bac Ha. The market’s most colorful part is clothes section with shirts, blouses, skirts…CAN CAU MARKETor parts of the traditional costumes with embroidery patterns in numerous motifs lying on dark batik background but could be the most interesting section will be the tobacco and wine section when buyers are allowed to taste the product before buying and a lot of men get too drunk to get anything more! It is every Saturday morning when numerous ethnic peoples mainly Flower H’mong gather to sell their farming products and buying necessities. In the ideal light with the early morning, It is not only the colorful market along with the peoples but also the beautiful surrounding nature make the visit here an unforgettable trip, specifically nature lovers and photo hunters.
