In the morning, heading out of town, we travel by roads for the Mekong Delta. On arrival in My Tho we board a ship navigating across the intricate small canals, which is often a great way to notice the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands.
Day 12: HANOI - HALONG BAY CRUISES
Today we'll have a visit for the outlaying Ethnologic Museum that is also a significant part in our sightseeing. This gleaming mansion is focused on Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups before we depart for Halong Bay at night scenic countryside. En route we make stopover at Dong Trieu pottery village to stretch our legs and admire the craftsmen at the job.
