The core in the bay comes with a area of 334 km2 using a high density of 775 islets. The Bay posseses an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960 islets, many of which are limestone. Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, plus a popular travel destination, in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. The limestone within this bay has gone through 500 million numerous years of formation in several conditions and environments. A huge bay, dotted with nearly 2,000 mostly uninhabited limestone cliffs, the breathtaking landscape is very similar to that of the Andaman coast of Thailand, Vang Vieng in Laos catba hotels and Guilin in China.
