Homeschoolers and their parents are at danger in losing their homeschooled status and are becoming closer and closer to being forced into the public school system. There is no overriding Federal Law that protects parents’ rights. Without a Federal law to protect parents who homeschool homeschooled families are edging closer and closer to being forced into the school system. The U.S has no uniform law to protect either parental rights or the right to homeschool. According to one very outspoken Presidential Candidate who has absolutely no "party affiliation" she is adding a Constitutional Amendment to protect parents and their children as well as providing funds so parents can homeschool their children if they wish.
