The floating villages draw a lot of attention and are one in the highlights of the trip. If you pass by them on your cruise, don’t be surprised if the boat's on-board chef stops to shop for fresh seafood from one.
Along the way we'll anchor for any leisurely swim in a very secluded cove along with a seafood lunch. After a short transfer in the town, we embark on a cruise to explore the world natural heritage dotted with a few thousands of rock formations. Cruise back to the base camp for supper. Day 4: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Bay Kayaking - Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi (B/L)
Our base camp is staffed by friendly locals who'll cook you up a hardy breakfast prior to deciding to head out for the morning to understand more about more of the amazing karst limestone formations and grottos. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. Enjoy another relaxing night with the base camp. Return to the base camp for lunch where you can enjoy the beach, throw round the Frisbee and have a swim. Cruise to Cat Ba Island, ferry to Hai Phong then drive to Hanoi; arrive about 7: 30pm. Note:
The camping might be on the deserted beach with double tent or at ready-set-up basecamp (also on beach) with bamboo hut depending on the weather condition and catba hotels (http://catbahotels.info/) availability.
