Our base camp is staffed by friendly locals who'll cook you up a hardy breakfast prior to deciding to head out to the morning to understand more about more of the amazing karst limestone formations and grottos. Return for the base camp for lunch where you can take it easy on the beach, throw around the Frisbee and take a swim. After lunch we walk to Viet Hai Quay for a short paddling on Lan Ha Bay to a beach where we are going to camp for a night. Cruise back to the base camp for supper. Cruise to Cat Ba Island, ferry to Hai Phong then drive to Hanoi; arrive about 7: 30pm. We use private support boat when paddling to discover hidden and untouristy corners of Halong Bay.
