From the peak of the mountain you can view the whole landscapes of Cat Ba Island. Take a shorter trek over the forest and climb up the Ngu Lam Mountain . From here, our bus is going to take you on the National Park that is home to 32 different types of mammals and more than 2000 varieties of flora.
The evolution of the karsts within this bay has taken 20 million years beneath the impact from the tropical wet climate. The limestone within this bay went through 500 million many years of formation in different conditions and environments. It's not the cliffs themselves that will make Ha Long Bay unique, but alternatively their sheer number. The Bay comes with an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960 islets, a few of which are limestone. The core of the bay posseses an area of 334 km2 which has a high density of 775 islets.
