Ha Long Bay is often a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with a popular travel destination, situated in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. It's not the cliffs themselves that produce Ha Long Bay unique, but instead their sheer number. A huge bay, dotted with nearly 2,000 mostly uninhabited limestone cliffs, the breathtaking landscape is very similar to that of the Andaman coast of Thailand, Vang Vieng in Laos and Guilin in China. The evolution of the karsts on this bay has brought 20 million years within the impact of the tropical wet climate. The limestone within this bay adjusted through 500 million many years of formation in various conditions and environments.
