The Bay comes with an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960 islets, a few of which are limestone. It's not the cliffs themselves that make Ha Long Bay unique, but their sheer number. The limestone on this bay moved through 500 million numerous years of formation in various conditions and environments. The evolution with the karsts with this bay has gotten 20 million years underneath the impact with the tropical wet climate. Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with a popular travel destination, situated in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam.
