We board a conventional boat for the five hour trip around Halong Bay. We round off our excursion which has a seafood lunch served fully briefed and travel by roads to Ha Noi, arriving in time to see an evening performance of Hanoi's famous water puppets. This exciting cruise provides us an incredible view from the picturesque scenery blending with all the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly in the clear and emerald water. These limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and exquisite caves. Along the way we are going to anchor to get a leisurely swim in a secluded cove plus an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. The south bound journey continues with a brief flight to Ho Chi Minh. On arrival you are met by our guide and moved to hotel. We drive past many lively streets on our way on the Reunification Palace. An afternoon will acquaints us with a few major sights of Ho Chi Minh. Close for the palace are a handful of striking French colonial structures like the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these using a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and also the War remnant exhibit. This mansion was the previous residence in the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. The lower edge resembles what shovel but is split in two and called the "lăn thó". Digging laterite takes a special form of spade known as a "thó".
