My Short Biography:
I recently received an MBA at NYU's Stern School of Business, with specialties in financial instruments, corporate finance, and management. Formerly, I was Director of Urology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/The Allen Pavilion as well as a Professor of Clinical Urology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. I'm a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and also a board certified urologist. I'm a Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Columbia College of Columbia University and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I did a year of general surgical residency at Johns Hopkins. In this fellowship, I'd added training in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of urologic cancers including bladder, prostate, kidney, penis and testis.

I have won many awards during nearly 2 decades in urology, including the Young Investigator Award from the National Kidney Foundation, First Prize Laboratory Investigation-Valentine Essay Contest New York Academy of Medicine, Honorable Mention- Valentine Essay Contest New York Academy of Medicine, as well as a Pfizer Scholar in Urology Award (twice). I have performed over 3000 operations including over 1000 radical prostatectomies for prostate cancer, either by the open or robotic strategies. I participated in many clinical trials for new drugs for urologic disorders and have authored over 150 papers.

I'm dedicated to the reasonable, efficient, and compassionate care of patients with urologic disorders.
