You'll enjoy a lunch of savory fresh local sea food and spend the rest catba hotels (more information) of the day to explore the town or relax on Cat Co beaches. Dinner and overnight with the campsite. You'll explore a few of the many caves contributing to stunning lagoons, paddle to some floating villages to see this unique life-style, and stop to chill out at among the many beaches here. Day 3: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Whole Day Kayaking on Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Whole day paddling and studying the Bay your own pace, while sporting a closer look in the amazing karsts. Enjoy another relaxing night with the base camp. Cruise back to the base camp for supper. You'll be met by the support boat which you'll board to relish lunch before you continue paddling inside afternoon. Today we are going to have a long trek across dense jungle to reach the peaceful village of Viet Hai. Note:
The camping may be on the deserted beach with double tent or at ready-set-up basecamp (also on beach) with bamboo hut depending for the weather condition and availability. Return on the base camp for lunch where you can take it easy on the beach, throw across the Frisbee and have a swim. We use private support boat when paddling to understand more about hidden and untouristy corners of Halong Bay. That makes our itinerary different from those organized by other tour operators who only use the kayaking packages provided by the overnight junks. After lunch we walk to Viet Hai Quay for a short paddling on Lan Ha Bay with a beach where we will camp to get a night. Day 4: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK TREKKING TOUR: Bay Kayaking - Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi (B/L)
Our base camp is staffed by friendly locals who'll cook you up a hardy breakfast when you head out to the morning to discover more of the amazing karst limestone formations and grottos. Cruise back to Cat Ba Island, ferry to Hai Phong then drive to Hanoi; arrive about 7: 30pm. Trip includes:
