I'm a board certified urologist and also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I'm a Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Columbia College of Columbia University and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I have done a year of general surgical residency at Johns Hopkins followed by surgery and urology residency training at Columbia. In this fellowship, I had additional learning the investigation and surgical treatment of urologic cancers like bladder, prostate, kidney, penis and testis.<br><br>I've won many awards during almost 2 decades in urology, including the Young Researcher Award from the National Kidney Foundation, First Prize Lab Investigation-Valentine Essay Contest New York Academy of Medicine, Honorable Mention- Valentine Essay Contest New York Academy of Medicine, as well as a Pfizer Scholar in Urology Award (twice). I've performed over 3000 operations including over 1000 radical prostatectomies for prostate cancer, either by the open or robotic approaches.
