Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as a popular travel destination, positioned in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. The evolution of the karsts in this bay has taken 20 million years beneath the impact with the tropical wet climate. The Bay posseses an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960 islets, most of which are limestone. It's not the cliffs themselves that will make Ha Long Bay unique, but rather their sheer number.
